Meet The Martin's

John and Betty Martin

John Martin was born and raised in Auburn. His family goes back to the Gold Rush, starting at Murderers Bar. John's grandson, Johnathan is the youngest generation. With him the family has been in the area for 7 generations. John and Betty started "The Martin's Adventure" while they were in High School. In 1977 married right after Betty's Graduation and have been on this adventure ever since.

John and Betty Martin opened Strictly Toyotas in 1991. Not long after they changed the name to Strictly Toy-Ondas with help of some loyal customers. John has over 50 years automotive experience and oversees the day to day shop operations. Betty has always done the bookkeeping and the last couple years has joined Janette, their Daughter at the front counter.

John and Betty Martin are committed to providing you excellent service, so you will always choose us for your repair needs.
Strictly Toy-Ondas is AAA approved repair facility and employ ASE certified technicians. (The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is the major certifying body for automobile technicians in the United States.) The American Automobile Association (AAA) also has specific rules and regulations their approved shops must follow, including up to a 24/24 month labor warranty and always keeping up with customers making sure Customer Satisfaction is being met.

Meet The Tam's

Janette Raylene Tam (Martin)

Janette Raylene Tam, John and Betty’s daughter, was born at Auburn Faith Hospital and plans to always live in the area. She is the Service Manager and works with the customers, technicians and suppliers. Janette is ASE Certified, has been working at our front counter for years and brought with her a smile and a desire to help find the best solutions for our customer’s service and repair needs. She can answer most of your car care questions or knows where to find the answers. When not spending time at Strictly Toy-Onda's - Janette is a Volunteer Firefighter for a local Fire Department. In 2016 she was honored with Rookie Of The Year, and in 2017 she was presented with Firefighter of the Year her Battalion. In 2018 she became in Operator and 2019 she was awarded Most Improved. She has now branched out to a neighboring department for further growth and education. 2022 she was awarded Firefighter of the Year and promoted to Engineer.

Tiffany Fowler

Hi! I'm happy to be a part of the team here at Strictly Toy-Ondas! I'm at the counter with Janette to help you with what your car may need. I have experience in customer service, administrative and supply chain management.

I grew up here in Auburn and love my hometown. My daughter graduated down on the field at Placer High School and my son is about to graduate from Lincoln High School. My husband and I like to take day trips exploring backroads most weekends with our little road dog Nacho. I'm a sucker for a beautiful skyline and I've even tried to paint a picture I took. There's just something so magical in those clouds.
